Hygienist
Kristin graduated from Forsyth in 1987. She has served in many positions in general dentistry practices as well as periodontal, pediatrics and geriatrics.
Outside of professional interests, she travels widely, reads, and enjoys living in the South Shore with her husband, her two daughters, Rachel 17 and Vanessa 20, and her three dogs. "My religion is kindness", her favorite quote by the Daila Lama, perfectly defines her state of mind and the way she considers her patients. By joining our team in 2007, she has finally found her dream practice.
Hygienist
Shawn, aka "the singing hygienist", is from a first generation Bostonian family. She graduated from Middlesex Community College for dental hygiene. Shawn is the proud mother of Robert 23 and Khamyle 21.
Her interests include good music, traveling, being around her friends and family and community services. She has been a member of the "family" since 2006. She brings valued experience, knowledge and warmth to our practice.
Treatment Coordinator/Front desk
Poliana comes from an Italian family based in Espirito Santo, Brazil. Graduated of the Dental Careers of North Shore, she completed training in dental assisting and also obtained her x-ray certification at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
What Poliana loves the most about her position is to guarantee a good experience to each patient who comes to our office. She has an exceptional ability to establish instant rapport with people based on outstanding communication skills. She's been working with the doctors and the front desk for over two years.
Treatment Coordinator
Siny was born in Thailand and is the third child of five siblings. She was raised by her Cambodian mother in Riverside County, California. She attended high school at Jurupa Valley High School in Mira Loma.
After moving to Boston four years ago, Siny was accepted into the Everest Institute for dental assisting. After graduating from the program, she started working for Kurban & Fereidouni in 2008. Siny is known for her beautiful smile and patience. Recently engaged, her dream is to get married on the beach in the Dominican Republic.
Treatment Coordinator
Lecy is from the south of Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2007, she graduated from the Everest Institute. Thanks to the program, she gained knowledge of the dental sciences, proficiency in laboratory and clinical skills, and practical experience involving specialized skills for dental assisting. She has been working for Kurban & Fereidouni since January 2008.
Lecy is modest and shy, meticulous and reliable, practical and curious. To make her coworkers and patients smile, Lecy always finds little, simple pleasures and sprinkles them throughout their day. She definitely appreciates the simple pleasures of Life like a good conversation with friends.
Treatment Coordinator
Priscilla was born and raised in Kenya, one of the most beautiful African countries. She moved to Maine in order to further her education. After receiving her Associate Degree in business Management from Mid-State College in Maine, she graduated from Bryman Institute for Dental Assisting.
In the past she had worked in several practices, but Kurban & Fereidouni has been unlike any other. The combination of genuineness and professionalism is only surpassed by the quality of dentistry. Convinced by her natural skills, Dr Kurban encouraged her pursuit of continuing education. She still attends courses specialized in Orthodontics.
What she enjoys in dentistry is seeing the transformation of a patient who rarely smiled into a person with a radiant smile. During her spare time, Priscilla likes to travel, dine out, and listen to world music.
Hygiene Assistant
After graduating from Middlesex Community College in Bedford MA, Megan worked with children in a Winchester neighborhood day care center. She enjoys working with Dr. Kurban and his staff. They are wonderful, professional and caring people, providing excellent dental care for our patients. During her free time, Megan loves helping her older sister with four children. She also enjoys going to her house on the Cape, watching movies, listening to music and yoga.
Financial Manager
Borie has a multicultural background: family from Cambodia, born in Thailand, raised in Paris, lived in Italy before moving to Boston. In 2002, she graduated from Da Vinci School of Management of Paris, majored in Business and Finances. Passionate for the entertainment industry, she joined the financial team of TF6, a French TV broadcast. She also worked for two years as a Royalties specialist for Studiocanal production company which owns the 3rd largest film library in the world.
Aspiring to a new way of life, she has redefined her personal branding by travelling around the Globe. Her latest destination was Boston 4 years ago. She has been working for Kurban & Fereidouni since January 2008.
